PHIERCEST: 1-on-1 Allstyles Battle (Pre-selection)

PRE-SELECTION

When: July 21, 2013 (Sunday)
Time: 6:00pm-11:00pm
Where: Brewing Point Dance Studio
Registration Fee: P150 (online registration) P200 (door fee)
Audience Fee: P50

FINALS

When: July 24, 2013 (Saturday),
Time: 5pm onwards
Where: B-Side, The Collective (7274 Malugay St., Makati – near South Super Hi-way)

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Register online before July 21, 2013!
Walk-ins or those who will register on the day itself will still be allowed to join the battle but will have to pay P200 (instead of P150)

HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE:

3. Wait for the reply via text message or online for the confirmation of your slot in the pre-selection battle on July 21, 2013.
4. Only the names listed in our final list of online registered battlers before July 21, 2013 are entitled to pay P150 only for the registration fee.
5. Payments will be collected on July 21, 2013 at the registration booth.

MECHANICS:

Registered and guest battlers will be given 1 minute each to showcase their style to any random music played.

Top 16 will be selected from the pool of pre-selectionist. (1 round each; 1minute per round)

Battler(s) will then draw lots to determine their spoton the battle map.

Top 8 battlers will showcase their final battle in Addlib’s Fund Raising Concert #8RaysOfTheSun at B-SIDE BAR on July 24 2013. (2 rounds each, 1 minute per round)

Top 4 (SEMI-FINALS) will be given 2 rounds each, 1 minute per round

Top 2 (FINALS) will be given 3 rounds each; 1 minute per round

* Judges will decide who will go first. In case of a tie, another 1 minute round per battler will be given as a tiebreaker.

GUIDELINES

• Open to all dancers
• Battler(s) who will be involved in any misconduct within the pre-selection period will automatically be disqualified.
• Judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable
